Welcome to Pistol Australia
Pistol Australia is the premier target pistol shooting association in Australia. Through its affiliation with Australian International Shooting Limited (AISL), Pistol Australia has the sole right to field target pistol shooting teams to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games and other international target pistol shooting competitions including International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cups, National Rifle Association (NRA) of America Bianchi Cup and NRA World Action Pistol Championships and the International Metallic Silhouette Shooting Union (IMSSU) World Cup and IMSSU World Championships.
As an AISL affiliate, Pistol Australia is affiliated with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF), Australian Commonwealth Games Association (ACGA) and the Oceania Shooting Federation.
Other Pistol Australia affiliations include the International Metallic Silhouette Shooting Union (IMSSU), World Association 1500 and the National Rifle Association (NRA) of America.

2009 NRA Bianchi Cup

Brent Laslett, Zeljko Cvetnic and Les Clark, the 2009 Australian (PA) Bianchi Cup Team, on their first place win in the international team's division at the 2009 Bianchi Cup.

Congratulations to Zeljko Cvetnic for taking winning honours in Revolver (above) and the highest placed Australian, placing 8th outright.
Congratulation to Les Clark for taking second place honours in the seniors category winning the John Cameron Memorial Senior Award (below).

2009 IMSSU World Championships
The 2009 IMSSU World Championships will be held in Dechin, Czech Republic, 16-25 July. The Australian Metallic Silhouette Big Bore and Small Bore Teams include:

At the 2006 Commonwealth Games this sport gained eleven medals. But you don't have to compete at the elite level - competitions range from friendly club events to State and National championships.
