I have been Team Manager to many Australian overseas shooting teams. I hold an ISSF Judge “A” license. I still enjoy shooting and in particular competing in Masters Games. |

I have been involved in Pistol shooting for 29 years, joining the Narrabri pistol club in 1982. During this time I have held positions of President, Vice President and Committee person and I still play an active role in the development of the club. I have also held the position of committee person on the NSWAPA, I was then the APSUA Metallic Silhouette Director for several years, I am a Judge A in Metallic Silhouette and a level 1 coach. I try to shoot as many pistol disciplines as I can, mainly concentrating on metallic Silhouette. My shooting achievements over the years have been at State, National and International level. |

Along with husband Doug, I joined what is now Canberra National Pistol Club in 1974 and have been an active and enthusiastic shooter since that time. As they grew older, our sons Craig and Scott joined the Club, competing at Club, State and National events. Since that time I think I’ve done some of everything connected with our sport – I’ve been a member of ACT Pistol Teams, Secretary of the Club, Secretary and now President of ACT Pistol Association, instructed new shooters and trained range officials, organized Opens and a myriad of other Club events, as well as being part of Organising Committees for four National Championships. With only a few exceptions, Doug and I have attended and competed in every ISSF/PA National Championships since 1978. I have progressed through the ranks to Judge A and International Judge level and this has led me to officiating at competitions in many parts of the world. I count my participation at Sydney’s Olympic and Paralympic Games and Melbourne’s Commonwealth Games as standout highlights of my involvement in pistol shooting. |

I grew up in a small country town in New South Wales and moved to Canberra in 1982 to attend University. I have a Batchelor's Degree in Management and have worked for Westpac, Advance Bank, the Rydges Hotel Group, NEC, the National Heart Foundation and the University of Canberra Union. In 1988 I went on a 12 month working holiday and gained much experience in the hospitality industry. I returned to Canberra in late 1989 and worked in various roles in finance and administration. In July 2003 my journey brought me to Pistol Australia where I found my role as Sports Administrator both interesting and challenging. Since then my role has expanded to include responsibilities such Editor of the Australian Pistol Shooter’s Bulletin and Web Administrator, among many others. The variety in my role as PA Sports Administrator has maintained my interest and I am focused on a long and rewarding career with the organisation. |
